What is model horses hobby?

Hello everyone!
Today I'd like to write about the model horses hobby, which is also called "plastic ponies hobby".What is it about?
Well... many people seems to like plastic animal figurines, but they treat them as a toys. Whitch is nothing weid, beacuse the target of those figurines are kids, who loves to play with them. 
The thing is that the many poeple stop treating those toys as a just plastic figurines, they treat them as a models.

In this post I’m not gonna describe each of those brands, I just want to present you what model horses is in general. The describtion of every brand will be in separately post.
1. The most popular brands:
- Breyer
- Schleich
- Peter Stone
- Papo
- Bullyland
-WIA
-Safari LTD

And there is also something what is called artist resin, which are model horses sales directly from the artist who made them of resin.

2. The most popular scales:

a) Traditional: 1:9 scale (adult models are approximately 11″ long × 9″ high) it is the most popular scale in the hobby

b) Classic: 1:12 scale (adult models are approximately 9″ long × 6″ high) are use very often in dioramas with dollhouses

c) Ponies/Dapples/Pony Gals: 1:12 scale (adult models are approximately 9″ long × 6″ high) now are retired, and it is not easy to find them, but is is possible to buoy models in this scale for example on ebay

d) Paddock Pal/Little Bits: 1:24 scale (about 6″ long x 5″ high) another one of the most popular scales, very popular with kids, most of the Schleich figurines in in this scale

e) Stablemates: 1:32 scale (adults are about 4″ long × 3″ high) 

f) Mini Whinnies: 1:64 scale (adults are about 2″ long x 1″ high)
